Register to Vote
Registering to vote is an important way to make your voice heard and have a say in the direction of your community and country.
You can learn how at the Louisiana Board of Elections website. You will need to provide some personal information, such as your name, address, and date of birth, as well as your driver’s license.
Remember, registering to vote is just the first step – be sure to also research the candidates and issues on the ballot and make an informed decision when you cast your vote.

Wednesday, September 13, 2023 – Last Day to Register to Vote and/or make changes to voter registration via in person or by mail
Early Voting: Saturday, September 30, 2023 to Saturday October 7, 2023 (excluding Sunday)
Tuesday, October 10, 2023 – Last Day to request Absentee by Mail Ballots
Saturday, September 23, 2023 – Last Day to Register to Vote and/or make changes to voter registration via online at geauxvote.com
Friday, October 13, 2023 – Last day for Registrar to receive voted Absentee Ballot
Election Day: Saturday, October 14, 2023
