With a solid record of supporting law enforcement and first responders, Greg was honored by the Louisiana Sheriff’s Association with their Legislative Leadership Award.  He authored the “Becnel Survivor Notification Act,” that requires a 60-day warning to victims when a person convicted of a violent crime or sex offense is eligible for release from prison.
